In its continuing support to the inclusive growth in Tanauan City, Tanauan Water District participated in this year’s Cityhood Anniversary celebration, particularly in the 2nd Annual Parade of Lights which was held last March 7, 2015.

TWD’s entry, a floating faucet with continuous running water mounted on a techno-themed service vehicle, solicited bewildered stares and animated chatter among curious onlookers who trooped to the main streets of the city to watch the festivities. The parade featured brightly-lit floats of public and private entities as well as street-dancers garbed in illuminated costumes. It was culminated in a program held at the Plaza Mabini attended by the local government officials, their constituents and guests.
